In The Venus Week, Dr. Booth communicates hormonal changes to women in a way they can understand and empowers them with the knowledge to live well every week of the month. The Venus Week is her metaphor for the week of the month when women experience a peak in estrogen (the "feel-good" hormone) and testosterone (the hormone of "desire"), resulting in enhanced interactions with the world around them. The book unlocks the secret of this optimal hormonal "recipe," providing uplifting insights that don't necessarily end with menopause.
